Smoothie bowls are a great twist on the regular smoothie, you don’t drink them, you eat them with a spoon as they’re quite thick and you can finish them off with toppings of your choice.
They’re great for meal replacements if you’re on a weight loss diet.
This one is full of vitamins and antioxidants so it’s an immune system booster, potassium from the banana along with the slow release of energy from the oats makes this great for breakfast.
Ingredients:
Blueberries
Raspberries
Strawberries
Banana
1 cup oats, soak them overnight so they’re all mushy
A splash of half fat milk, or almond / coconut / soy milk
Optional toppings:
Honey
Flaked almond
Toasted coconut
Process:
Add ingredients to the blender, pour into bowl after blending.
Finish off with toppings and eat it with a spoon.
