I went to the mall and I was over taken by the sweet aroma of the Cinnabon Stand. Gosh they smell good. I know that while on a weight loss journey I shy away from having high carb and fatty foods. Not having that cinnabon didn’t stand in my way. I found a healthier recipe to fulfill my craving.
*****INGREDIENTS*******
TO MAKE THE DOUGH:
2 CUPS WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR
1 1/2 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
1/4 TEASPOON OF SEA SALT
2/3 CUP OF 2% MILK
1 tablespoon honey
*mix all ingredients thoroughly*
The Filling:
1 medium sized ripe banana
2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
3 teaspoons cinnamon
Icing:
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon milk
14 teaspoon of vanilla extract
I used a ketchup bottle to store my icing.(purchased at WalMart for .97)
