How to make Watermelon & Blueberry Smoothie at home. Losing weight can be a challenge and finding a tasty diet recipe is even harder. I have created these healthy smoothie recipes to help you lose weight and stay in shape. This is a a really easy and very healthy recipe available for everyone. They are perfect for dairy-free, clean, vegetarian, gluten-free, raw diet and Paleo-friendly diets. This is a green smoothie recipe, that looks and tastes incredible. Healthy smoothies are quite filling too and can make a good meal replacement, particularly if you’re having smaller more regular meals for weight loss. They are delicious and nutritious, each smoothy only containing between 250 – 350 calories. Pour into cups and drink immediately for a delicious, healthy and energizing drink. This recipe serves 2 people.


Watermelons are mostly water about 92 percent, but this refreshing fruit is soaked with nutrients. Each juicy bite has significant levels of vitamins A, B6 and C, antioxidants and amino acids. Watermelon is an unusual fruit source of the carotenoid lycopene and a rich source of phenolic antioxidants. Spinach contains a good intake of iron and is one of the richest among green leafy vegetables.

Ingredients we will need for a healthy smoothie:


4 cups cubed seedless watermelon

2 cups of spinach or kale

1 tablespoon fresh basil leaves

1 cup frozen blueberries

1 tsp of lime juice


Optional Ingredients:

Then add any of your favourite superfoods to the mix if you like!

-1 heaped tbsp chia seeds

1 heaped tbsp vanilla protein powder

½ tsp acai powder

1 heaped tsp maca


Directions:

Step 1 : Blend your watermelon. Ad spinach and basil and blend until smooth.

Step 2: Add your lime juice and frozen blueberries. Enjoy.
