Green smoothie, a powerhouse of nutrients has a perfect combination of leafy greens and fruits that not only look good, but taste good and above all, DO good to the body. A 100% raw alkaline drink that provides you with energy, lots of nutrients like Vitamin A, B, C, E, K, Calcium, Iron, Potassium, Magnesium, Folate, Manganese and fiber, to name a few!
Ingredients:
Spinach (1/2 cup)
Kale (3/4 cup)
Orange ( 1 small or half of a large orange)
Pineapple (4-5 small chunks/ ¼ cup by volume)
Banana (1/2 of a large banana)
Tomato (1/2 of a small tomato/ ¼ of a large tomato)
Ginger ( 1tsp)
Mint (2-3 leaves)
Baby Carrots (4-5)/ ½ of a small carrot
Water ( 100 ml or as per required)
Ice cubes ( as per required)
Salt ( ¼ tsp or as per taste)
Method:
Transfer all ingredients except water to a high speed blender.
Pulse a few times to chop fruits and veggies into smaller pieces.
Run blender at medium speed (or on smoothie option, if present) till everything blends well.
Serve cold!
