Hello Fabulous Food Preppers!


Fat loss comes down to calories in (what you eat) minus calories out (calories burnt through exercise). To lose weight you need to expend more calories than you consume.


There are around 250 calories in each of these boxes:


– 200 grams (7 oz) of mixed veggies

– 100 grams (3.5 oz) of poached chicken

– 50 grams (1.7 oz) of sweet potato


You can store these boxes in the fridge for about 4 days or freeze them to eat later.

♥♥♥ POACHED CHICKEN ♥♥♥


– 1.9 kg (4.1 lbs)chicken breast

– 400 ml (13.5 oz) can of coconut cream/milk

– ground ginger


1. Cut chicken into bite sized pieces into a large pan and pour in coconut cream/milk


2. Add a splash of water to cover the chicken and sprinkle ground ginger


3. Bring the chicken to the boil and reduce the heat to low and simmer in a covered pan for about 10 – 15 minutes


4. Stir the chicken frequently to ensure it doesn’t stick to the pan.


5. Once chicken is cooked, take the saucepan off the heat and leave the chicken in the gingery coconutty liquid to soak for up to an hour.


6. Strain liquid and save for a soup or curry recipe.


♥♥♥ ROASTED SWEET POTATOES ♥♥♥


1. Peel and dice 3 large sweet potatoes (1.2 kg / 2.6 lbs).


2. Spray with olive oil and season with chilli powder.


3. Roast for 40 – 45 minutes in the oven at 180 C or 350 F.


♥♥♥ MIXED VEGGIES ♥♥♥


You will need about 2.2kg (4.8 lb) of veggies. in total I used the following mix:


– asparagus (1 cup is 27 calories)

– red onions (1 cup is 67 calories)

– cherry tomatoes (1 cup is 27 calories)

– mushrooms (1 cup is 20 calories)

– baby brocoli 1 cup is 31 calories)

– sliced carrots (1 cup is 45 calories)

– yellow pepper (1 cup is 27 calories)


Season with ground cumin and Mrs Dash tomato and basil herb seasoning.


Roast for around minutes in the oven at 180 C or 350 F.


♥♥♥ SIRACHA MAYONNAISE ♥♥♥


Mix 50% mayonnaise and 50% siracha sauce together in a squeezy bottle.


(Remember 1 tbs of mayonnaise has 90 calories and 1 tsp of siracha sauce has 5 calories)

Hard boiled eggs – 70 calories each

Almonds – 10 Almonds are 70 calories
