Alkaline fruits are foods high in alkaline. We need alkaline food to keep our bodies in balance. PH balance is the level of alkalinity and acidity in a solution just like our bodies. It is measured between 0 to 14. 7 is neutral.
Our ideal ph balance is 7.30 to 7.45.
Ideally we should be eating 80% alkaline and 20% acidic foods.

Avocado and banana’s are two of the best alkaline fruits you can eat and with spinach in our smoothie as well we have a delicious and ultra nutritious meal.
Avocado and banana smoothie ingredients –
1 or 2 bananas
1 avocado
1/2 cup spinach
2 teaspoons cacao powder
500 ml s (approx.) Soy milk, Almond Milk, Coconut water or filtered water
Place ingredients into your blender. Turn blender on for a minimum of 30 seconds then pour into your glass. Add a sprig of mint to the top of the glass and ice as desired.
