1. It’s important to drink lots of water! The recommended dairy water intake is around 2 litres. Use it as a guideline as everybody is different and require different volumes of water.
Stay away from fizzy drinks/ concentrate juices – these have a high sugar content and many other ingredients which can negatively affect our health.
2. Eat Healthy – Try eat less processed food aka junk food! They are highly addictive and don’t actually have that much nutritional value to them.
Try and cook your meals. If you have a busy lifestyle keeping organised is key. Bring fruit with you on the go. Pre make your meals beforehand. Yes it’s more effort but it’s much healthier for you and works out cheaper also!
3. Exercise. Keeping fit will give you more energy, help remove toxins from your body via sweat. It also helps burn calories and therefore help you lose weight. Also, weight training and hiit workouts are really good for muscle toning and building.
When you tone/build muscle they actually consume more energy even when you are resting therefore helping you lose more calories and therefore help you lose weight!
4. Replace a meal with a protein shake. I make my own protein shakes which I will include a full recipe on my blog and link it for you guys. Protein shakes help manage your hunger and you will also consume less calories per day if you replace a meal with a protein shake.
5. Cut down on sugars! Refined, processed sugars are extremely addictive and cause weight gain very fast! Try replace cravings for chocolate/sweets with fruit. Fruit contain natural sugars which the body can easily digest.
