This recipe is a very simple White fish main dish that is kind of like a “hot pot” of any healthy veggies you have! The base of the recipe is always the same but if you have some awesome extra healthy veggies around, just throw them in!
This recipe is great if you are looking to find dishes that will help you cut down on your calorie intake while still getting that “full” feeling that is jam packed with flavour!
Here is the list of ingredients for your reference!
1 tbs extra virgin olive oil
1 small hand full of broccoli
1/2 a small white onion diced
1 clove of garlic diced
5 tbs canned diced tomatoes
1/4 tsp of thym
1/4 tsp of oregano
1 tbs white rice vinegar *optional*
3 tbs of lemon juice
2 tbs mirin *optional*
1 tsp honey *optional*
Salt & Pepper to taste *optional*
2 pieces of cod (or any white fish)
6 stalks of green swiss chard
1 handful full peas
1 handful frozen peas
This recipe is best served with a side dish of brown rice or white rice. Also good with baked sweet potato *hehe*
