How to make Ginger Apple Papaya smoothie at home. Losing weight is always a challenge and finding a tasty diet recipe is even harder. I have created these healthy smoothie recipes to help you lose weight and stay in shape. This is a a really easy and very healthy recipe available for everyone. They are perfect for dairy-free, clean, vegetarian, gluten-free, raw diet and Paleo-friendly diets. Healthy smoothies are quite filling too and can make a good meal replacement, particularly if you’re having smaller more regular meals for weight loss. They are delicious and nutritious, each smoothy only containing between 250 – 350 calories. If you like ginger then you’ll love this smoothie. It has a dominant ginger flavor with a hint of apple and papaya. Pour into cups and drink immediately for a delicious, healthy and energizing drink. This recipe serves 2 people.


Ginger has a variety of health benefits and has been used medicinally for centuries. Ginger is widely known for it’s immune-boosting and stomach-settling abilities. It has been shown to be effective in treating nausea from motion sickness, morning sickness and chemotherapy. This smoothie is also a rich source of folate, vitamin B1-B6, vitamin E and K, copper, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus and potassium. Papaya is an excellent source of powerful antioxidants and vitamin C and A. Papaya is a good source of fiber, which has been shown to lower high cholesterol levels. The nutrients in papaya are also thought to help with the prevention of colon cancer. B-complex vitamins in red apples are key in maintaining red blood cells and the nervous system in good health.

Ingredients for a healthy smoothie:

2 cups papaya, peeled

1 teaspoon fresh ginger – 6 gr

1 large red delicious apple, cored

1 medium cucumber, with peel

1-2 cups of ice or filtered water


Optional Ingredients:

Then add any of your favourite superfoods to the mix if you like!

-1 heaped tbsp chia seeds

1 heaped tbsp vanilla protein powder

½ tsp acai powder

1 heaped tsp maca

Directions:

Step 1 : Blend your papaya and ginger until smooth.

Step 2: Add your apple, cucumber and ice and blend until smooth. Enjoy.
